If you’re looking to start a career in management, then look no further.

Barnsley College is rated outstanding by Ofsted and ranked second in the country in the NICDEX league table, an annual league table of colleges published by FE Week. The College offers a range of management qualifications ranging from Level 2 to Level 7 including Leadership and Team Skills; Team Leading; Management; and Strategic Leadership and Management. The courses can be studied part-time, as an apprenticeship or on a distance learning basis, meaning students can study around their existing commitments.

This course gave me the opportunity to learn new theories, generate new ideas, and put them into practice. It has filled me with new knowledge, skills and experience.

Andy Atkins, a former Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership student who is employed as a Team Manager at Wakefield Council, said: “Having studied management previously, I was seeking an accredited distance learning course in Strategic Management where I could learn on-the-job. This course gave me the opportunity to learn new theories, generate new ideas, and put them into practice. It has filled me with new knowledge, skills and experience.”

Barnsley College’s Head of Business, Warehousing and Logistics, Angela Kerley, added: “We’re delighted to offer an array of management courses so we can provide opportunities for those looking to start their management career or existing managers to develop their leadership and management skills and gain recognised qualifications.”
