Race for Life 2020

On Wednesday 20 May we are organising a Race for Life in association with Cancer Research, Association of Colleges (AoC) and Yorkshire Sport.

The event will take place at Dorothy Hyman Stadium, Cudworth, Barnsley, S72 8LH. There is a free shuttle service from Barnsley College to Dorothy Hyman Stadium sponsored by Yorkshire Rose Holidays*.

The 5k event is 12 laps of the Dorothy Hyman Stadium and is entirely non-competitive, you can run, jog or walk.

You can book on any of the three slots:

•             10.00am – 11.30am (coach will depart at 9.20am)

•             11.30am – 1.00pm (coach will depart at 10.30am)

•             1.00pm – 2.30pm (coach will depart at 12.20pm)

Each participant will receive a free participation t-shirt. You can choose from navy blue, sky blue or cerise pink. T-shirts come in S, M, L, XL and XXL. Order yours when you book your place below.

You can book slots for groups of people.  You should attach a document to the form with the names, T-shirt colour and size for each participant.

Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life is a series of events raising money for research into all 200 types of cancer. Over the past 20 years, more than 8 million people have taken part in the Race for Life, raising over £547 million to fund the charity’s life-saving work, but it does not stop there.
