What is Click & Collect?

Click & Collect is a temporary service to enable access to the HE Library and Learning Curve resources while usual borrowing procedures are suspended due to the closure or part-closure of library sites.

Borrowers will be able to reserve books or items on the online library catalogue that would usually be available to borrow. Library/LC staff will fetch the items requested and, once the items are ready for collection, borrowers will be emailed to invite them to select a date and time to collect the items.

Books may be returned at the same time as you collect your new requests.

When will Click & Collect be offered?

Click & Collect will be offered from September and while it is safe enough for limited numbers of library staff to return to library sites, but not yet safe enough for readers to enter library sites for browsing and borrowing.

Who is the service for?

The service is for all staff and students.
