Graphic Design students competed against each other in the Barnsley College Digital Design Challenge hosted by Bolser, an award-winning digital marketing agency.

For the challenge each student was given a new burger company to launch. Their task was to take a live client brief and turn it into an appealing and stimulating digital marketing campaign. This provided an opportunity for students to come up with something creative and engaging.

The students started the day by discussing existing burger companies, the brief, their objects and generating ideas. This was a great opportunity to share some practical knowledge and see the great concepts the students were coming up with.

Graphic Design student Justin Chew, 18, of Cudworth, said: “Working with Adam from Bolser was a very rewarding experience as we received an insight into the current industry. This gave us valuable experience and knowledge in modern and digital design.”

Adam Knights, Senior Designer at Bolser Digital Agency, added: “This is the third time Bolser has worked with Barnsley College and each visit has been an excellent experience. It’s important students gain an understanding of how to approach a professional brief and this is what we aim to provide during the session.”
