We are proud to sponsor the Large Employer of the Year category at the 2020/21 Sheffield City Region Apprenticeship Awards.
As the closing date for awards entries approaches, apprentices across the region are preparing submissions, including several from our own student community.
David Akeroyd Deputy Principal, Development and Productivity at Barnsley College said: “We are very proud to support this event which celebrates individuals and organisations involved in apprenticeships across our region. Not only does winning an award mean recognition for the apprentice, but it’s also a major morale boost for the company, workforce, training providers and mentors who work so hard to support and encourage them.”
Not only does winning an award mean recognition for the apprentice, but it’s also a major morale boost for the company, workforce, training providers and mentors who work so hard to support and encourage them.
We work with thousands of employers across Yorkshire and even more beyond, with a portfolio of training programmes and qualifications which is designed to support the entire workforce development strategy. Over 70 apprenticeship pathways are on offer at various levels, serving a multitude of job roles and sectors from accountancy, construction and beauty therapy to teaching and warehousing and logistics. Historically, we have enjoyed apprenticeship success rates above the national average.
If you are a business with apprentices, you can encourage them to apply or put them forward for an award. To enter visit www.scrapprenticeshipawards.co.uk. The closing date for entries is 6.00pm on Wednesday 30 June 2021.
