University Campus Barnsley (UCB) will welcome prospective students at its next Open Day on Saturday 30 June 11.00am to 2.00pm.
UCB offers an individual university experience in the heart of Barnsley town centre giving students the skills and knowledge required to progress in their chosen careers.
There will be the opportunity to talk to tutors and student ambassadors and find out about the wide range of full and part-time degrees, foundation degrees, HNC/Ds and Higher Apprenticeships as well as enquire about student finance and have a go at practical subject taster sessions.
There will also be the opportunity to meet newly appointed Director of Quality for HE, Andrea Clarke, who joins UCB bringing a wealth of experience in both Further and Higher Education. Andrea said: “I feel passionate about education, opening the doors to those people who may never have considered a higher level course and nurturing them to reach their full potential. There are so many flexible learning opportunities available to college leavers and mature students alike at University Campus Barnsley and I’m thoroughly looking forward to welcoming prospective students to our Open Day on the 30 June.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the Open Day between 11.00am and 2.00pm on Saturday 30 June, at UCB on Church Street, Barnsley. Register in advance at universitycampus.barnsley.ac.uk/register or just turn up on the day.
