If you are wanting to improve your English speaking skills, then our English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) course could be for you.
This course will provide you with the essential language skills you need to help you communicate in English by improving your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Developing your understanding of the English language, you will become a more fluent English speaker and build your skills and your confidence to help you live, work and study.
On completion of the course, you will get a recognised qualification which can help you in your next step, whether that is employment progression, continuing with further study or making everyday life a bit easier.
Classes are flexible and can be tailored to fit around your work or family life.
In response to the current government guidance in relation to Covid-19, smaller class sizes and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Andra Ghencea, Head of Department for English, Maths and ESOL, said: “ESOL is perfect for anyone wanting to get a grasp of the English language. The course is practical and students will learn to speak about topics which are relevant to them in everyday life such as travel, work, family and friends, the weather and use of numbers.
“It’s not too late to join us and places are still available for ESOL courses starting in September.”
