Students from Ellar Carr School in Bradford paid a visit to explore their options for their career and future study.
Students took part in a range of tours around college campuses and departments including Art and Design, Catering, Construction and Sport. The tours are designed to get students thinking about their future and raise their aspirations about what they could achieve after school.
Alnisa Zeb, a Key Stage 4 Transition Leader at Ellar Carr, said: “This is one of the best colleges we have visited. The tour sessions have provided the students with rich knowledge and information about college life and career prospects.”
Lewis Tiffany, a Year 11 Ellar Carr pupil, added: “I have really enjoyed myself. The tour has provided me with an insight into college life, I have particularly enjoyed the new facilities and friendly staff at Barnsley College.”
The next Open Evening is on Thursday 9 February 2017 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
