Our Business, Warehousing and Logistics department has launched a new Level 1 Work Preparation course.

The new course will start on Wednesday 29 April and places are available to reserve now.

The free course is available to anyone who isn’t currently studying or employed. It takes 45 hours to complete and is delivered online, meaning students can gain a recognised qualification from the comfort of their home. The new course will start on Wednesday 29 April and places are available to reserve now.

Students will study topics that will develop their general employability skills including searching for a job, applying for a role and how to prepare for an interview. They will also improve their communication skills and learn how to manage personal finance.

Abby Holmes, Programme Manager within the Business, Warehousing and Logistics department at Barnsley College, said: “I’m pleased that we have expanded our offer by launching this new online course. It will allow more people to develop their skills in preparation for further study or employment.”
