"In 2016, I decided to book a table at this fancy restaurant in Sheffield called Rafters. For me this was my first time eating at a fine dining establishment and needless to say, I was wowed by the whole experience. I had applied numerous times to Rafters, I wanted in so bad. Later I got accepted as a Commis Chef and between lockdowns I progressed to running the pastry section (my dream position) where I get to work alongside the team I’ve been watching for years prior. Later this year I will launch my debut business Imiter la Perfection, which is an amazing outlet of my personal creativity though the production of high quality artisan bonbons and a variety of chocolatey accessories, it also doubles up as my trial run and a ‘throw in the deep end’ approach to the world of business."
Now works as Pastry Cook at Rafters Restaurant in Sheffield.
