The Construction Management Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) provides a strong foundation in construction management principles and practices, preparing individuals for management roles within the construction industry.
This course focuses on developing both the technical knowledge and practical skills needed for various roles in the construction sector, including site management, surveying, and project management.
HTQs are quality-marked by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education to ensure alignment with employer-led occupational standards.
By the end of this Level 4 qualification, you will have sound knowledge of the basic concepts of construction; be competent in a range of subject-specific skills; as well as holding the general skills and qualities relevant to key areas of construction.

This course offers both full-time and part-time study. Full-time is a one-year course and with on-site study two days a week (Monday and Tuesday). Part-time is run over two years with on-site study Monday and Tuesday evenings 5.30pm - 8.30pm.

£6,995 per year.
Other funding information
As a Higher Education student living in England you may be eligible for the non-means tested Tuition Fee Loan from the Government and a Maintenance Loan.
Students with children or dependant adults may qualify for a Childcare Grant or Adult Dependants' Grant. Students can apply for these at the same time as applying for a Maintenance Loan.
Remember: Eligible students will not have to pay tuition fees in advance and can apply for the Maintenance Loan before they start the course.
We offer a service to any student who has a diagnosis of anything persistent or long-term which might interfere with how they study and manage their day-to-day academic engagement. The service is flexible and shaped around the needs of each individual; it might be consistent support or intermittent support.

You will be assessed by synoptic exams and completion of assignments that will assess knowledge and understanding from across the qualification.
You will need to provide your own writing materials.

You can progress on to the Modern Methods of Construction Higher National Diploma (HND) (HTQ) qualification.
