Esports is competitive video gaming where players compete in tournaments. Our two-year full-time course covers Business, Finance, Marketing, Health, Coaching, Video Production, and more. With excellent facilities like our Esports Arena and state-of-the-art classrooms, you'll gain valuable skills in teamwork, communication, and leadership. Join our Esports Academy and compete in the British Esports Association Championships. Prepare for a dynamic career in the fast-growing esports industry!

Full-time Barnsley College students aged 16-18 years old do not have to pay tuition fees.

Course Content
A keen interest and willingness to be involved in the Esports, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship industries.
Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths or Level 2 Esports plusGCSE English at grade 3 or above.
You will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Services check along with Initial Assessments in Literacy and Numeracy.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.
If you are aged 16 - 19 and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, you will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards achieving a higher grade in English and Maths, we can help you do that too and we offer Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) which can be added to your study programme.
If you're aged 19 or above and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths we can help. We offer FREE English and Maths qualifications that can be studied on a part-time basis, subject to eligibility.
