Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship
Hospitality team members work in varied settings like bars, restaurants, cafes, hotels, and conference centres. Despite typically specialising in one area, they must be adaptable and support team members across different functions. All units in their qualification are mandatory, covering roles such as food and beverage service, alcoholic beverage service, barista, food production, concierge and guest service, housekeeping, reception, reservations, and conference and events operations.

Course Content
Hold two GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and Maths
Be employed within the catering industry or have an employer in this area willing to take you on as an apprentice
You may have also achieved a Level 1 in Culinary Skills
Applicants to this Apprenticeship will be from different age groups, with differing backgrounds and experience. As a guide, applicants may enter via a range of routes including from:

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.
If you are aged 16 - 19 and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths, you will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards achieving a higher grade in English and Maths, we can help you do that too and we offer Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) which can be added to your study programme.
If you're aged 19 or above and don't hold a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths we can help. We offer FREE English and Maths qualifications that can be studied on a part-time basis, subject to eligibility.
