Barnsley College University Centre offers a range of Higher Education options for students. Whether you support students who are leaving Further Education, or adults wanting to upskill and gain further qualifications, our team can provide advice and guidance about options for Level 4 courses and above.

Assemblies and Presentations
Find out more about the Level 4, 5 and 6 qualifications Barnsley College University Centre offers through this 15 minute presentation. We explain why studying at a smaller institution can be a great option, and explore a range of pathways, including HTQs, Foundation Degrees, and Degrees. This presentation can also be extended with an information session about Student Finance, explaining how this works and answering questions learners may have.

Raising Aspirations
Continuing to study beyond Level 3 can open up new opportunities, although preconceptions and concerns can sometimes stop people from looking into Higher Education. Our presentations, workshops and tours can be tailored to help support learners who are not considering university to look at other options to allow them to progress. With HN Flex, HTQ, and Higher Apprenticeship options, learners can continue studying beyond Level 3 without committing to a full degree, while still increasing their skillsets and experiences.

Tours
If you have individuals or groups of learners who would benefit from visiting the facilities and speaking with tutors, we can arrange this. Groups can stay for lunch, grabbing some food from our cafes and a drink from Starbucks, in between touring our state-of-the-art facilities.
