This course will start in February 2023. This is a six-week course studied over six evenings with lessons typically running from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. The course is a combination of theoretical and workshop sessions.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, and you are not expected to have any prior knowledge or experience, however, an interest in the subject area is advisable.
You will achieve a Level 2 IMI Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Routine Maintenance Activities.
This qualification is for those who have an interest in gaining the knowledge to work safely when carrying out routine maintenance activities on electric and/or hybrid vehicles. You will gain the knowledge and skills required to work safely around a vehicle that may have had damage to its high energy/electrical system.
This qualification offers an introduction into this specialised industry sector and will complement any current industry qualifications and experience. It will enable you to continue to work safely within your role.
