Our students can go into these careers
Study at Wigfield Farm campus, a working farm and visitor attraction in Worsbrough. Visit the Wigfield Farm campus page and watch our video to get a feel for what it’s like to study at the Farm.
We have over 60 animal species at Wigfield Farm, including a variety of livestock – poultry, cattle, sheep, pigs, llamas, and goats.
You will gain work-related experience as well as going on relevant field trips.
You’ll get the chance to exhibit the farm animals at Wigfield Farms’ yearly shows.
You will learn from experienced agriculture teachers, some of which have their own their own farms.

Studying Agriculture at Barnsley College will enable you to develop skills for a range of careers such as: Stockperson, Farm Hand, Farm Manager, Agronomist, Production Grower.
