To apply for a full-time course you need to submit your application via the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). To submit your application visit www.ucas.com
Applications for 2020 entry should reach UCAS by 15 January 2020. Don’t worry if you miss the deadline, you can still apply to study higher education at Barnsley College via UCAS up until the summer. However, please be aware that offers are dependent on the availability of places so we would advise you to apply early.
If your current school or college is registered with UCAS just ask your tutor or careers advisor for help. If you’re not currently in education but are based in the UK you can apply online through UCAS independently. The UCAS website provides full instructions on the application process.
Once you’ve applied we’ll communicate with you regularly throughout the whole process, from interview to offer and enrolment.
For more information on applying, visit the guidance pages on the UCAS website.
You can see the UCAS codes for each course on the course information pages and on the UCAS website.
The institution code for Barnsley College is B13. When searching for our courses on UCAS, type this code in the provider box or you can search for ‘Barnsley’.
To apply for a part-time course, please use the Higher Education Part-time Application Form.
Once you have applied to study at Barnsley College you will be invited to an informal interview to talk to tutors in more detail about what the course entails. There will be a chance to take a campus tour at this stage if you haven’t already visited us.
