The Year 11 Application Process

Step 1 – Search

Search for a course in the College prospectus or use our course search. You can also use your local authority’s online portal if you live in Sheffield, Wakefield or Kirklees

Step 2 – Apply

Students can apply for the course of their choice from the middle of October via our  online application. You can also use your local authorities online portal if you live in Sheffield, Wakefield or Kirklees

Step 3 – College interview

Students are invited in to College to attend an interview with tutor from their chosen subject(s). Interviews usually take place each Wednesday afternoon between 3.30pm and 4.30pm, starting in November.

Step 4 – College place

After the interview, students will be offered a place on their chosen course or referred to a more appropriate course.

Step 5 – Subject taster

Students are invited into College to take part in a taster session in the subject they have chosen. This usually occurs in the summer.

Step 6 – Enrolment

An invitation and enrolment pack will be sent out at the beginning of August giving students all the information they will need to enrol onto their course at the end of August.
