Student catapults gaming career to new heights

Level 3 Esports, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship student, Jake Gould.

After spending 14 years honing his craft, student Jake Gould is preparing for a future career in Esports after becoming a Social Media Intern for Endpoint CeX.

Jake a current Level 3 Esports, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship student will be responsible for generating, editing, publishing and sharing engaging content on their social media channels, live match reporting, delivering exceptional customer service, attending media days and events and much more.

“I was really nervous during the interview process, but I received some positive feedback about how I was better than some more mature candidates. I believe this is down to the preparation and skills I developed at College.”

Endpoint CeX are a UK-based Esports organisation striving to strengthen the UK’s position in the global scene. Their rapid growth is led by their extensive experience within the gaming and Esports market, specialising in CS:GO, Rocket League and Quake gaming.

Jake said: “I’m really looking forward to earning an income by doing something I love, plus being able to develop my editing and video content skills whilst gaining work experience. I started playing racing video games when I was four years old and now I’m an avid CS:GO, Apex Legends and Valorant gamer.

“I was really nervous during the interview process, but I received some positive feedback about how I was better than some more mature candidates. I believe this is down to the preparation and skills I developed at College.”

His dedication is truly paying off! Congratulations Jake in securing your internship, you are an inspiration to your tutors and peers.”
