This virtual learning package offers the perfect solution if you currently hold the 17th Edition Wiring Regulation qualification but are struggling to study the latest regulation updates alongside your job.

This flexible course will provide you with 12-month access to tutorials for each unit of study, accompanied by periodical online assessments.

The focus of this self-study online course is to ensure candidates understand the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. It will cover any changes made from the previous edition and how to implement these in the real world.

If you have passed your 17th Edition since the most recent amendment, then this course is the one for you. This course is great to keep up with the most recent updates without having to re-study subjects which you are already competent in. Please be aware that this is not a shortcut, and that you will still need to sit the 60-question, two-hour exam.

Course content

As part of this course, you will receive:

  • Full access to a range of videos, with an assessment at the end of each unit.
  • Access to the progress tracker, showing show close you are to becoming certified.
  • 12 months access to online content, allowing you to complete the course at your own pace.
  • Admission to the formal examination if you select the specified option.

This qualification will be assessed through a City and Guilds online exam that is to take place at Barnsley College at a pre-arranged date.

You will need:

  • A computer with internet access
  • Electrical Installations City and Guilds Book 1 (ISBN 978-1-5104-3224-6)
  • On-Site Guide (ISBN 978-1-83953-227-6)

This is an online course, therefore you can study from anywhere.

How much does the course cost?

The course costs £160 and will provide 12 months access the City and Guilds Smart Screen and one exam attempt, any further exam attempts will be chargeable. Funding may be available subject to eligibility.
