Our T Level in Management and Administration is a two-year, technical study programme, designed with employers to give you the skills required in industry. You will develop the core knowledge and skills that are needed for entry to a range of management and administration occupations.
Our T Level in Management and Administration is a two-year, technical study programme, designed with employers to give young people the skills required in industry. To achieve this qualification, you’ll need to complete two components; a Core Component and an Occupational Specialism.
The Core Component provides knowledge and understanding. It underpins key concepts, theories and principles relevant to the T Level and the subject sector. You will cover modules such as:
The Occupational Specialism provides the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve competence in Management and Administration and it provides you with the knowledge and skills required to enter employment or further study in the specific occupational area.
As well as completing the component above, you will also take part in an industry placement of at least 45 days. This will provide you with the industry-specific knowledge and skills to help boost your future prospects.

Following the successful completion of your T Level course, you will hold the UCAS points equivalent to three A Levels, so you will be able to progress to Higher Education to study a university-level course or a Higher Apprenticeship. Alternatively, you may choose to enter skilled employment directly in Business Administration or Management.
Full-time Barnsley College students aged 16-18 years old do not have to pay tuition fees.

Having good English and Maths qualifications are important for most careers and we want to give you the help you need to succeed.
If you are aged 16 – 19 and don’t already have a grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths they will automatically be included in your study programme. If you want to work towards higher grades in English and Maths we can help you do that too.
Need a higher level Maths qualification? We offer a Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths).
