Start Date / Duration

This course will commence September 2024 and runs for two years.

Entry requirements

  • Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English or BTEC Level 2 in Travel and Tourism (or related subject), graded Merit plus GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
  • Good personal work or school reference demonstrating acceptable level of attendance and commitment to hard work.
  • There will be opportunities to travel locally, regionally and internationally, and possess good communication skills. You must also be of smart appearance with high level of personal hygiene.

You will achieve

  • NCFE Diploma in Travel and Tourism Level 3.

On completion of this course, you could progress to a range of different careers within air cabin crew, airport operations, holiday companies, visitor attractions or conferencing.

How much does the course cost?

16 – 18 year olds

Full-time Barnsley College students aged 16-18 years old do not have to pay tuition fees.
