We are opening our doors to anyone aged 16-18 and not currently in full-time work, education or training.

We are holding an Open Day for people to find out about our Foundation Learning study programmes on Thursday 10 February (3.00pm-7.00pm) at The Fleets campus, Smithies Lane, Barnsley, S71 1NL.

“The Open Day is a chance to find out how we can help you if you aren’t sure about what to do next. You can begin the programme any time so you can start straight away if that suits you.”

The Open Day will allow visitors to speak to tutors about the study programmes available and how the College will help them progress to their next steps.

There will also be an opportunity for visitors to discuss gaining GCSEs in English and Maths and try their hand at vocational subjects such as Catering, Media or Motor Vehicle Maintenance.

Kelly Ardron, Programme Manager for Foundation Learning, said: “The Open Day is a chance to find out how we can help you if you aren’t sure about what to do next. If you are only working part-time, have recently left a job or a course or just need a hand finding some direction, we’ll discuss everything you need to know about the Foundation Learning programme.

“You can begin the programme any time so you can start straight away if that suits you. We look forward to welcoming you to the College!”
