Barnsley College T Level students have achieved a 98% pass rate, with a 100% pass rate in two of three subjects.

Many of these students are now looking forward to starting Higher Education courses at universities including Salford, Sheffield Hallam and York St John, or beginning an Apprenticeship.

I enjoyed the course and would recommend T Levels to other people particularly due to the work experience aspect, which is specially tailored to the course.”

David Akeroyd, Principal and Chief Executive of Barnsley College, added: “We are thrilled with the progress of our T Level learners, who have outperformed against national benchmarks once again. This shows the value of technical education in building the workforce of tomorrow.

“We are also delighted with the 100 per cent pass rate for the majority of A Level subjects that we offer at Barnsley Sixth Form College. This is testament to our students and staff, who following the impact of Covid, have been successful in progressing in their studies and are going to the university of their choice.”
