Talent United is Barnsley College’s employer engagement programme, which aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, by providing our students with employer-led and employer-based opportunities.
We do this by creating ‘partnerships’ with companies and individuals who may be able to provide anything from guest speakers to workshops, workplace tours, work placements or apprenticeships. For students we also co-ordinate guest talks from industry experts, core tutorials, events and much more.
In return, we provide our employer partners with a range of exclusive benefits and discounts including:
- Free use of our HubSpace (with capacity for up to 30 delegates).*
- Invites to our exclusive events including bi-monthly networking sessions.
- Access to our range of partner-led masterclasses.
- Promotion through our website, press releases and social media platforms.
- Free and discounted courses.
There are no expectations of our partners, you can provide as much or as little time as you would like, and we won’t charge you any fees.
