What happens next…
You will be invited to attend an Apprenticeship Approval session at the College on the date and time given in your text message. If you are unable to attend please contact us on Tel 01226 216123 to rearrange.
Please note: We are unable to put you forward to an employer until you have been in to see us at the College.
Please check which site you are attending and report to the Reception on arrival. Please try to arrive five minutes before the time you have been given.

The Approval Session
At the approval session you will:
- Receive information about the apprenticeship programme you have applied for.
- Have an informal interview with a College Assessor – who will also check your qualifications
- Have the opportunity to ask any questions about the apprenticeship programme.
If you have applied for more than one subject area we will try to cover these on the same day, however this is not always possible and you may be invited to come in again at a later date.
Please remember to bring certificates to evidence your qualifications and grades, in particular maths and English. If you don’t bring your certificates you may be asked to complete an assessment in maths and English.
If you haven’t already applied for an apprenticeship vacancy with an employer don’t worry – still come along and speak to our assessors.

You will need a CV that we will send to the employer – there is a CV and Interview Techniques drop-in workshop held each Wednesday 1.00pm – 3.00pm at the Old Mill Lane campus. Call in and see us if you need any help.
