About the event
We are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2024!
Apprenticeships are a great way for apprentices to learn the practical skills to succeed in their chosen industry – whilst also getting paid! Likewise, apprenticeships allow employers to develop their businesses by recruiting new talent or upskilling existing staff.
Throughout the week, we will be highlighting the value, benefits and opportunities apprenticeships provide on our social media channels, so follow us to keep updated and we’re hosting some events so you can find out about the apprenticeships we offer.
We’ll also provide key information for potential apprentices about how to apply for an apprenticeship, parents/carers and employers who want to recruit an apprentice or upskill their existing workforce.

Anyone aged 16 or above can apply to be an apprentice, even if you are already employed. They are available on three levels, Intermediate, Advanced and Higher, so you can gain qualifications up to degree level whilst avoiding student debt.
We offer over 70 apprenticeship programmes in a wide range of industry sectors including Accountancy; Business; Catering and Hospitality; Childcare and Education Professions; Construction; Creative and Digital Media; Engineering; Health, Science and Social Care Professions; Leadership and Management; Retail; Sport; Travel and Tourism and Warehousing and Logistics.
Would you prefer a more technical education when you come to College, rather than following a purely academic pathway, or a work-based apprenticeship? Visit the T Levels web page to find out about these pathways and the subjects we offer them in.

The Government website has a range of resources and information to assist you.
